Bookkeeper Job in Windsor, ON

We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join an award winning team. This role will assist with full cycle bookkeeping, payroll, government filings and general business advice.

Start Date: As soon as possible
Shifts: Days
Position Type: Full-Time
Work from Home / Remote: Hybrid
Wage: $60-70k

What You’ll Be Doing:

– Leading and completing the month-end accounting processes
– Developing weekly cashflow reports, monthly AR/AP aging summaries, and monthly financials statements
– Completing all tax remittances and filings
– Preparing all supporting documentation and working with external accountants to complete each year end
– Full-Cycle Bookkeeping
– Bank Reconciliations (multiple bank accounts)
– Monthly and quarterly government remittances
– Cash flow management
– AR / AP processingPreparation of monthly financial reports provided to management team
– Fiscal year end preparation
– Act as a resource for accounting-related questions and process improvements
– Work with the team to refine and improve accounting policies and procedures

Position Requirements:

– 4+ years of bookkeeping experience or equivalent
– Bookkeeping certificate or Accounting Degree
– Expertise in QuickBooks Pro Desktop, and Quickbooks Online
– Proficient in MS Office including Word and Excel, and highly computer literate overall
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships
– Organizational skills for prioritizing demands and work flow
– Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
