The Job Shoppe is currently hiring a Payroll Administrator for a well established, industry leading firm in Windsor, Ontario. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for the preparation and processing of documentation required in the administration of all facets of the payroll function.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Shifts: Days 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Position Type: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $40,000 – $45,000/year
What You’ll Be Doing: :
•Process pay on a weekly and year-end basis
•Post on-line adjustments to pay, on a daily basis
•Prepare pay adjustments due to finals, retirements, resignations, and cancelled cheques
•Audit pay registers, monitor and review employee actions
•Respond to inquiries from employees on various facets of payroll
•Maintain and process attendance records for payroll
•Seek opportunities to improve/enhance payroll processes and delivery, provides insights and recommend solutions to the Director, Payroll Operations
Position Requirements: :
•Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Business or related field
•PCP & CPM designation preferred
•Previous (1-3 years) experience in payroll operations
•Strong understanding of payroll policies and processes
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple priorities
•Strong analytical skills
