Welder Job in Windsor, Ontario

The Job Shoppe hiring Welders for our client in Windsor, Ontario who is an industry leader in automated manufacturing, assembly and surface coating.

Start Date: Immediate opening
Location: Windsor, Ontario
Shifts: Swing Shift – Biweekly rotation between Days and Afternoon
Position Type: Ongoing placement, Team-to-Perm position
Wage: $19.96 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Ensure that machine or job is set as per setup instruction with all required tools and fixturing (including checking fixtures) at job location
• Perform MIG and TIG welding as required based on production demands
• Maintain welding equipment
• Perform work so that production requirements are met
• Ensure that all material whether in process or non-conforming is tagged as per applicable procedures

Position Requirements:
• Able to weld various metal substrates (e.g. steel, alum, stainless steel.) and all types of product part
• Able to read tape measure
• Able to read blueprints
• Obtained Grade 12 or equivalent
