Full-Cycle Recruiting and Staffing

The Job Shoppe can provide all aspects of temporary, contract, seasonal and corporate recruiting. We utilize a best-in-class, cloud-based HRIS System which streamlines every step of the recruitment and placement process. This includes position advertising, candidate sourcing, prescreening, interviewing, assessment and reference checking, background screening and drug testing where applicable, document controls and onboarding and training.

Workforce Management

The Job Shoppe can provide a dedicated onsite HR Coordinator to work directly with our client’s HR teams. As a standard practice, our HR Coordinator will attend monthly meetings with our client, maintain all client-specific reporting and act as a liaison between the two parties. Additionally, our HR Coordinator will manage our onsite workforce, implement employee engagement and retention programs, conduct employee performance reviews, document accident and incident reports, investigate and perform disciplinary counselling when needed.

Marketing and Employee Engagement

We employ a full-time Marketing team who can provide all necessary elements for recruitment campaigns. These elements include social media marketing, content creation for employee communication, development of employee attendance and retention programs, customized on-boarding and training program creation, in-depth data analysis and report creation, as well as campaigns for building brand awareness and creating local connections and partnerships.

Human Resource and Legal Services

In addition to the standard Human Resources services of policy and procedure development and implementation, we perform Health and Safety Audits, Worker’s Compensation management, Return to Work Program, COVID responsiveness plan, employee investigations and disciplinary counselling. We can provide additional Human Resources services to our clients. These services include HR Audit and assessment, Legal and HR Compliance, Employment Practices, Employee Handbook, Employee Benefits, Training, Executive Coaching, Management Training and Development, Employee Separation Considerations, Organizational Restructuring and much more.

Payroll and Finance

Our internal Payroll and Financial team can provide payroll services that include processing, compliance, and record management. All temporary employees receive weekly direct deposits via a cloud-based payroll system. We provide an itemized electronic invoice that includes the employee’s name, their hours worked and their bill rate to our clients. Additionally, we provide all of our client’s employees with low-cost dental and vision, disability and/or term life insurance coverage. Our team can also process full payroll and offer health coverage for our client’s entire workforce if needed.
